Can they interact with guests in character?
Definitely! That’s the best part. Our Character Servers are entertainers first—they stay in character, engage guests, pose for photos, and keep the energy fun and memorable.
Do I need to provide the food, drinks, and serving items?
Yes—clients must provide all consumables, including food, drinks, serving plates, napkins, and glassware. We’ll coordinate how it’s displayed and served.
What kinds of things can they serve?
Our servers can present drinks, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, candy, party favours, champagne, popcorn, novelty items—you name it! Just keep in mind that everything will be displayed on a mobile tray, so items should be stable and unlikely to tip or spill while roaming.
Can I choose the character and tray style?
Yes! Most of our characters can use either tray style, depending on the look and function you’re going for. We’ll help match the tray to your theme and what you plan to serve.
What’s the difference between a hand tray and a concession tray?
Hand trays are held and carried by the server, allowing more freedom to move and interact. Concession trays are worn around the neck and shoulders—perfect for stability and that classic retro “cigarette girl” or carnival vendor look.
Do the servers interact with guests?
Definitely! Our performers are trained to warmly engage, offer food with flair, and match the tone of your event—whether formal or fun.
Do I need to provide the food, plates, or drinks?
Yes—all consumables must be provided by the client or caterer. This includes the food itself, any serving plates or containers to be placed on the tray, as well as drinks and glassware if applicable (e.g. for Champagne Skirt service). We’ll coordinate the tray setup and timing to seamlessly match your plan.
Can I customize the tray or costume?
Absolutely! We can match colours, themes, or branding, and even include small signage or décor on the tray itself.
How many food items can the tray hold?
While they don’t carry quite as much as our Strolling Tables, Canapé Trays are designed to comfortably hold 30–50 bite-sized treats, depending on the presentation. Chat with one of our coordinators about which style would best suit your event.
