Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Please read all terms closely. Terms can change from time to time. Terms found here may not be current with company policy. Please read your invoice/client agreement for the terms that relate to your specific event. If there is a discrepancy between the terms found here, and those found on your Invoice/Client Agreement – The terms found on the invoice/client agreement will override the ones found here.

TriXtan Entertainment operates on a strict ‘Pay or Play’ booking policy on all performances and event services. Once Entertainers, Staff or Event Services is assigned for your event and Initial Payment is paid, you become contractual bound to all terms found here and in your Client Agreement. TriXtan Entertainment accepts bookings on a first paid, first reserved policy. An Initial Payment of 50% of your total TriXtan Entertainment invoice is due immediately upon booking Shows, Entertainers and Event Services. A booking is not guaranteed without an Initial Payment from client. If initial payment is not received within 7 days of Invoice Date, then all entertainment services may be released from booking. If the agreed total fee is less than $750.00, Full Payment of all fees will be required to hold the booking. TriXtan Entertainment may request Full Payment upfront to confirm bookings or custom builds for different types of services such as custom built Living Statues Characters, Stilt Walking Characters, Strolling Table Characters or other custom entertainment projects and unique to your event services.
All fees and payments are non-refundable (except in very specific circumstances) if cancellation, rescheduling or swapping out entertainment and event services for other TriXtan Entertainment services is within 30 days of event (or 60 days of event if booking falls in the month of December). If Cancellation, rescheduling or swapping out entertainment and event services for other TriXtan Entertainment services is outside of the 30 days of event (or 60 days of event if booking falls in the month of December), then 25% of the amount paid to TriXtan Entertainment may be able to be credited to your next event with TriXtan Entertainment within 90 days. If client cancels within 7 days of the event then 100% of TriXtan Entertainment invoice will be due.
Should the client need to cancel their entertainment package with TriXtan Entertainment, they will be offered 90 days to reschedule their entertainment package. Rescheduling must be made with more than 30 days notice of event (or 60 days of event if booking falls in the month of December), of the original agreed upon Event Date. The rescheduled date must be within 90 days of the original agreed Event Date. No refunds will be issued for cancelled Performances, Entertainers and Event Services with no rescheduling date being confirmed. If a rescheduled date cannot be arranged or agreed to before original Event Date, then the full remaining payment of 100% of the agreed performance fee must be paid to TriXtan Entertainment. Full payment will be paid to TriXtan Entertainment not as a penalty but rather as compensation for loss of other business opportunities, Administrative fees and cancellation fees owed entertainers/event staff. Full payment must be made on the day of the Event Date. For rescheduled entertainment packages, full payment must be made within 90 days of the originally schedule and agreed upon Event Date.
Interest and penalties will be charged weekly for late payments at a rate of 2% beginning the day immediately following the Event Date with an immediate administrative fee of $75. Please see your invoice or client agreement for the exact terms and rates that apply to you. TriXtan Entertainment dislikes penalizing clients for late payments, so please pay on time. Penalties for late payments HAVE and WILL be enforced. Payment of the Initial Payment demonstrates your acceptance of late payment penalty terms. Clients will only be allowed to reschedule a performance date to a limit of one time without additional penalties and charges. If Event Date stays the same but the Performance Times for entertainment services are changed, then this cancellation and rescheduling policy may taken into affect as rescheduling entertainment services.
Should TriXtan Entertainment need to cancel or reschedule a performance due to illness, family emergency, death or Act of God (Science); we will provide an equivalent substitute, attempt to reschedule the performance or negotiate a suitable compromise.
