Colour vs. Black Ink – Which Should You Choose?
Black Ink: offers sharp, high-contrast designs that show up well on most skin tones. It’s ideal for clean logos, bold text, and crisp line art — and because it uses a single cartridge, you’ll get the most consistent, precise results. If you want your temporary tattoos to look clean and professional every time, black ink is your best bet.
Colour Ink: adds visual excitement and is perfect for playful designs, themed artwork, or multicoloured logos. However, it may appear differently depending on skin tone, and since multiple cartridges are used, the colours don’t always align perfectly, which can affect the sharpness of detailed designs.
Tip: If clarity and consistency are most important — go with black ink. If you’re after vibrant color and fun, and a bit of variation is okay, color ink is a great choice.

Yes, it’s possible to switch cartridges, but it’s not instant. Swapping from black to colour (or vice versa) takes about 5 minutes, including calibration and setup time. For the smoothest experience, we recommend choosing one ink type per event, but if you’d like both options, just let us know in advance and we’ll plan accordingly.
If you want fun, eye-catching designs: colourful logos, characters, or event themes ; colour ink adds personality and flair. Just keep in mind that the sharpness may vary slightly from one print to another.
Go with black ink option. It’s the most reliable for clarity and detail, especially for text, logos, and line art.
Black ink generally provides higher contrast and shows up more clearly on a wider range of skin tones. Colour ink can look great too, but may appear more subtle or varied depending on the skin tone and design.

We require:
