Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Tristan Court and I have been an entertainer in Calgary Alberta for over 11 years now. I started out performing magic when I was in high school where it was just a hobby at the time, I had no idea my life was going to take me this deep in to the world of entertainment! Back in my teen years I was performing for for a family that was celebrating the fathers 40th birthday. I’ll always remember this show because after my performance, the dad came up to me and started calling me TriXtan… and soon after TriXtan Entertainment was born.
I started out like many other magician’s performing solo small shows for families and friends, but when I started getting the chance to perform bigger and bigger shows, I leaped at the opportunity. I started a public show called Our Next Show which started out for a few reasons. I wanted to create a community based variety magic show that involved different entertainers in the community from veteran’s to fresh out of the gate entertainers. The show involved a MC, two head liners and a special guest and each performer has their own unique performance type. Performing this kind of a show gave me a chance to up my game and try out new material which lead me in to bigger and bigger illusions. And finally I was meeting people at my smaller shows such as birthday parties and restaurant show and they were interested in seeing the stage performances. I could tell them all about the show, but having a public venue to come see the show gave our fans a chance to come see our grand illusion show without having to work for the companies that hire us such as Shell Canada, ConocoPhillips, Nexen, etc..
