Pixel Art – Stop Motion Balloon Mario
About 6 months ago I started launching a new project called ‘Pixel Art Balloon Walls’, it started because I wanted to build artwork that was in line with something I had an interest in. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE entertaining as well as the challenge of building sculptress for the requests my clients, however, this Pixel Art Balloon artwork was just for me… at the time ;)
If this is the first time you have seen my Pixel Art Balloon Walls, to give you an idea of what the concept is, I take suggestions of 8-bit video game characters (or any character for that matter) from you guys through email, phone, text, Face Book, You Tube, etc. and then build it over 8 feet tall in a pixel art form out of balloons. Here are a few of them below…
But over the last few months, I have had fun and enjoyed being able to share my creations with the world as well as take a suggestion and then build them for everyone’s viewing. So far I have been able to share over 25 of these creations ever Friday, with more to come! To answer your questions… Yes this does make a huge mess! But it’s great for my neighbors, they get free party balloons at the end of each wall!… Or sometimes it ends up in tragedy!
